OUR COMMITMENT

Gender Equality Plan
Posamas was born from a women-led entrepreneurship journey rooted in Kalecik’s vineyards. We strive to create economic opportunities for women across the agricultural and bioeconomy ecosystem — from vineyard operations to R&D labs, from product design to strategic leadership.
Our commitment goes beyond hiring: we support women growers, collaborate with women-led cooperatives, and build inclusive innovation models where women shape decisions, value creation, and long-term strategy.

Side-stream valorization
Every year, thousands of tons of grape pomace — rich in antioxidants and bioactive compounds — remain under-used across Türkiye. At Posamas, we transform this overlooked side-stream into high-value ingredients for cosmetics, functional foods, and soil health.
By upcycling instead of discarding, we reduce organic waste, prevent methane formation, and extend the life cycle of local agricultural resources. Our model proves that regional by-products can become globally relevant, high-impact materials when science and terroir meet.

Soil–Vineyard–People Loop
Our circular bioeconomy model closes the loop where it begins — in the vineyard. After extracting valuable phenolics, the remaining pomace is returned to the soil as a natural amendment, supporting microbial diversity, moisture retention, and healthier vines.
This creates a regenerative cycle: the land nourishes the grapes, the grapes nourish people, and our process nourishes the land again.
By strengthening this soil–vineyard–people relationship, we help protect Kalecik Karası’s unique terroir and empower local growers to thrive in a changing climate.
Rooted in Our Territory
At Posamas, our People & Planet First certification reflects a deep, measurable commitment to transforming local resources into global impact. Guided by SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), we close the loop in Kalecik’s vineyards by upcycling grape side-streams into high-value ingredients and returning the remaining biomass back to the soil through science-backed, regenerative projects. This circular model reduces waste, supports healthier vines and growers, and ensures that every step — from vineyard to value-added product — enriches both people and the planet.
