The circular solution for grape pomace
By 2050, the world will use three times more resources than the Earth can provide. To prevent this, the European Union plans to be climate neutral by then and will use Circular Economy principles to help reach this goal. Grapes are the fourth most produced fruit in the world, with almost 80 million tons produced in 2018 (FAO, 2018). Most grapes are used to make wine, a process that creates a lot of waste, including grape pomace. Our mission is the valorization of grape pomace for upcycle with green technologies for healthy lives.
